On May 10 2014 residents Lois and Mark Stalder once again stepped up to the plate to assist Director David Pieski in aquatic planting. Last years' canna really thrived, whereas the pickerelweed didn't . Consumption by grass carp was suspected. So this year, fencing was erected to hopefully protect the plants. Time will tell. About 70 pickerelweed, yellow canna, orange canna, and bulrush were installed.
